​IACUC 101™ Series relies on hosting institutions or hosting organizations to commit time and personnel to the set-up and delivery of our courses. With close direction and guidance from the IACUC 101™ Series administrator, the host assists in multiple aspects including the selection of course and housing venues, audiovisual requirements, course layout and, if applicable, hotel/conference center contract negotiation.

IACUC 101™ Series welcomes requests from institutions and organizations interested in hosting a one or two-day course including minority institutions and institutions located in “underserved” U.S. regions.

Selection

Candidates are selected based on multiple criteria, including, but not limited to:

• Institution’s mission and level of commitment
• Program location
• History of previous IACUC educational opportunities in that location
• Size of the local research cluster
